I am a second year BA Fashion Student Studying at Plymouth College of Art.

After Studying A-levels in Fine Art, Photography, Textiles and English Literature, I found myself immersed into the large but also intimate world of fashion.

Fashion to me is a force of communication through vision and culture; it affects everyone. It can be powerful, even within supposed weakness. Through my illustrations I am always trying to provoke a sense of awkwardness, and challenge pre conceptions; I play on what it means to be ‘realistic’ and often sculpt it into something possessing more unrealistic features and qualities. My designs are often formed by a cohesion of contrasts, and influenced by science, the environment, history and subjects that are not often addressed and brought to attention.
